SPIRIT HIGH

"You're braver than you believe,

stronger than you seem,

and smarter than you think".

We all have moments and experiences of great challenges. Whether they come as outcomes of our earlier poor choices or combined ripple effects of other people's irresponsible acts, they can produce in us irritability, tension and stress that we cannot ignore. While we cannot always control these irritating tensions and stresses that come into our lives, we certainly are empowered human beings and are able to control, manage and react in ways that can break these challenges into smaller manageable ones and deal with them piece by piece, stone by stone.

My experiences in life have taught me to deal with my stresses in two ways:

- admit of the problem

Admit that there is a problem and that you can see and feel the amount of negative tension it's building on you and in your life.

- seek help

There are always help and resources available to us outside of ourselves. Reach out. Talk to

someone you believe you can trust to share your burden. Gain wisdom in the pain. Listen to

your own intuitive wisdom and allow others to speak wisdom to you.

When you realize stress is overpowering you and start putting fear in you, the most damaging thing you can do to yourself is adjust your choices to your fears. When you decide you will stop looking for a job because you can only take enough of the rejections- by no longer job hunting you just adjusted your choices to accommodate your fear.

Our struggles don't mean failures. Struggles are like motions of friction. It is by the continuous application of opposing forces called friction that a precious metal attains its beautiful shine. Our struggles are meant to build stronger character in us. This strong character we developed challenge by challenge only increases our threshold in life that ultimately makes us able to succeed in bigger brighter ways.

So instead of stopping your job hunting, you search more and beyond, discovering more of your talents and passion, matching them with other job opportunities you may have ignored in the past.  Cheer up and soar high! As Christopher Robin quoted:

"You're braver than you believe,

stronger than you seem,

and smarter than you think".
